I know a lot of the things we do can be difficult and if you don’t practice them they’ll probably stay difficult for you. Now, some things come easier to some and not for others and the opposite too. When the workout of the day is done and there is extra time before the next WOD starts, that is your chance to practice things you want to be better at. For instance, if you want to get better at snatches or front squats, pick up a PVC pipe and get to work. If you’d like to work on pull-ups, chalk up and make it happen. If you still can’t do a squat, keep stretching or start stretching! My point here is if you are going to get pissed off that you suck at something, do your best to fix it and I will do my best to help!
This is not directed towards anyone in particular but if you think I’m talking to you maybe you should get to work!
WOD
Front Squat
2-2-2-2-2-2 reps
nice work lanette keep it up .
more evidence that Elijah knows what he’s doing with our programming: I lifted 10 more pounds than I aimed for today, which was a 30 pound increase from the last time we did front squats! I love it when we take a break from a lift and come back to it stronger.
way to double under lanette! I wouldn’t say I got pissed yesterday, but that WOD definitely highlighted one of my weaknesses. the whiteboard doesn’t lie 🙂
Thanks Kyle and Molly. Still a long way to go.
