It’s a good mural/painting. Seems like the giant is a little bummed out, but the seedling is helping cheer him up.

Love the let beauty speak up itself – – watched it last night.

I see a modern day man in a medieval man’s body touching that plant because he knows he is somehow connected to it and all the answers of his life are within it, but him (and the rest of humanity) are so far removed from what it is to be human he is just perplexed. So, i wish that man the best of luck! “All life is suffering”

    “the dawn of agriculture”.

or maybe johnny appleseed, though I don’t think he wore studded cuffs.

then again, it could be adam, trying to think up a name for this piece of creation. could that be the baby tree of knowledge? that pointed finger is very michelangelo.

here’s a quote for the other adam:

“Have you ever stood and stared at it, marveled at its beauty, its genius? Billions of people just living out their lives, oblivious. Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world, where none suffered, where everyone would be happy? It was a disaster. No one would accept the program, entire crops were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world, but I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through misery and suffering. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this, the peak of your civilization. I say your civilization, because as soon as we started thinking for you it really became our civilization, which is of course what this is all about. Evolution, Morpheus, evolution. Like the dinosaur. Look out that window. You’ve had your time. The future is our world, Morpheus. The future is our time.”

Ok so call me crazy but the first thing I see when I look at this painting is the shadow of a new face emerging (it’s on the left side of his face with only a forehead and a nose) and I think the plant represent the hope of a new beginning. It reminds me a lot of crossfit……….the idea that we are willing to leave our old ideas and routines behind and finding amazingly strong new human beings within ourselves that have just been waiting to emerge!
Happy b-day coach! Hope all your bday wishes come true!

I see a perplexed man wondering why it is taking so long for this small thing to grow and not really knowing what it is going to become. Like others have said kind of like all of our journeys with this thing called crossfit. Starts off small and grows into something we are proud of (or should be proud of).

This has been deep thoughts by Steve. Hope you enjoyed.

Happy birthday Coach, thanks for growing us into qthletes we can be proud of.

I think maybe he is not feeling too well after eating one too many Brontosaurus Burgers and is now saying to himself, “I got to get more foliage in my diet.” Happy birthday Elijah! Have a good one.

This looks like one of those pictures where you shift perspectives and see something else but can’t quite see it.i see the face T is speaking of.
To me he is suffering in some way, maybe he has had wealth, success, fame and feels unfulfilled. He is going back to his routes, to something he can’t control to find wisdom, fulfillment and happiness 8)!
