I have something pretty powerful to think about today: “I can’t vs I don’t.” ‘I can’t’ sounds wimpy but ‘I don’t’ sounds like I am in control, making my own decisions.

No snooze button this morning!! Nice to start the day off with a win. I feel better already!
Nicely done last night George. Wow! Had a little breakthrough last night thanks to Steve DDS. I found whenever we would do dead lifts in succession I would end up getting light headed because I was holding my breath the whole time. Steve suggested I breath in on the way up and out on the way down. Do not know if this is textbook but it worked for me. Thanks Steve. Always learning something every time I enter the box.

DDS! – my diving coach used to always tell me when I’d say “I can’t” (whining) . . . “Yes, you can. You either ‘don’t’ or you ‘won’t’ but its never that you ‘can’t’.” I think of it from time to time and it still holds true. Dammit!
