Did heavy db split clean and jerks at work. Completed 5 sets x 5 reps with 55#’s. Got a 30 min bike ride in too. Its harder to do these at work, much better when I have all you around to push me.

Fire Steve . .. it is beyond encouraging to see that u do the WOD or a close version of it at work, on days when you cant make it into the box. It so reminds me that there are no excuses. Thanks for posting it . . . it helps!

Hey Jess- I just read your post from yesterday and I have to say I think that it’s great that showed up for the wod. There are lots of days when the white board gets to me. When this happens I try to step back and remind myself that #1the white board should moivate not get me down and #2the only honest measure of your sucess is what you are doing compared to your true potential. Keep it up girl!

    Thanks T!

Fire Steve, where were you? George and I just ran sprints at the track. Good, pukey times.

Thank you to whoever brought the Lagunitas IPA to the gym. excellent breakfast today.

I just started following Andrea Ager’s blog. she is currently competing in the OC Throwdown and had this to say about training and competing: “Every single day of training is working on getting incrementally better at a few things… and there are how many things to work on, hundreds? The practice of skill and intensity of effort required to continually advance in a sport takes a loyalty most people can barely understand. This means not only financial commitments and hours of training time, but also endless amounts of mental intensity and toughness.”

    Happy weekending!

Sorry Molly. I was signing some refinance paperwork which took longer than expected. Went for a 2 mile run instead. Hope you had fun.

T i so agree with you, Jess I can really relate to your post. I dont look at #’s just the WOD on the white board on a daily bases, If i do look at the #’s its only for inspiration and not fustration! I try to set goals for myself within MY limits and then try to push just a little beyond! What actually inspires me most is just seeing all the hard dedication that the true ACF peeps put into the box, thats what makes me push harder! you know who you are so a big thanks to all of you
