I hurt everywhere from Saturday and now I’m stuck at work all day. This would be the perfect way to stretch out Saturdays pain!!

Good article on toxic beliefs, definitely can relate to some I have now and some I have let go of. There is an exercise I have started to do with myself on taming the mind. When you notice you are in a negative thought pattern, state it out loud, then state a positive in it’s place, then explore your mind for another negative and replace with a positive, and so on until you have run out of negative outcomes and all you are left with is positive. It’s impressive and automatically puts you in a better mood.
For example: Karen is going to suck, Karen is awesome, Karen hurts, I love Karen, Karen is a bitch, Karen is “My bitch.”

I liked the article linked at the end of the 5 Toxic Beliefs article: How to be happy at work. It sounds so simple: “When you’re unhappy, it’s because you’ve decided to be unhappy.” And sometimes, I think it’s OK to be unhappy, especially if you use that emotion to solve the problems you perceive. Then again, I believe the best way to solve problems is to stop calling them problems π
