well, not much to say about thrusters other than squat clean your first one for best results. i failed twice on thruster #3 at 113. argh, gravity!
those 75 burpees were fun though, right? in order to avoid 75 burpees tomorrow, i’ll try to spark a thread:
you know that awkward moment when you go to give somebody a high five and they respond with a fist bump, or vice versa? what do you prefer and why? are you a high fiver or fist bumper?
Stuck at work. I will do it today at work and let you know how it goes. Were the 75 burpees before or after the thrusters? Unforunately you guys probably wont see me until next Friday. Between work and holidays. I will try to work hard on my own. First 2 weeks of Jan will be a grinder.
still cherry picking be there on sat for twelve days of x-mas . dont mean to be a downer but the holidays suck need for them to be over so i can get back to it .T and i will need to detox after x-mas the fammmmmm is great numb the brain!!!!!!!!
Oh my god Molly, it’s good to know I’m not the only one! I guess I prefer the fist bump because I’ve never had an awkward situation with that. The high five can go anywhere – too high, too low, low with palm up…. too many options.
Although I do agree with Lanette that the sound of high fives is better.
Got a little over confident and came in yesterday even being sick. Paid the price today. Hope to be back tomorrow.
I agree with Rosie – never had an awkward fist bump, unless you count not blowing it up afterward. Help me out guys. What’s the proper blowup etiquette?
Fist pumps with the blowup are cool, though a simple high-five not so much. Both are quick and easy, then you move on. However, high-five with a grasp is solid and definitely more intimate (that’s when it gets awkward…grasp or no grasp). Follow-up that grasp with a chest bump, or a quick hug….that’s where its at. Who wants a hug tomorrow at noon?
Good job CoachK! Of all things, I think my shoulders held me back today. For anyone considering butterfly pull-ups, they’ll work ya.
great workout CoachK!!!
high five, fist bump, elbow bump, chest bump, belly bump, hip bump…who cares…its fun to mix it up and keep people guessing…
great job today jenny…
sounds like fun…see you at 4:30

Just out of habit from work I like fist or elbow bumps.
I always seem to not know the proper protocol and get stuck in the middle. I prefer high fives. They just sound better.
“Puppy Chow” great job today! Your lifting some heavy weights these days!
FireSteve we missed you today at noon.
Last note…No cherry picking.

Never tried the elbow bump.
Still recovering from Monday and Tuesday. Body was hurting today. Fist bump Molly, definitely fist bump.

Thanks for the 75 burpees, Keith! And Amen to Jenny.
PS: Molly! I told Robert about the high five/fist bump moment. If you fist bump it, you have to “blow it up” afterwards.
