    I like the article on exercise and the ever-smarter brain, what a good booster into my motivation to exercise regularly as I start another college semester (full-time). The body does in fact fuel the mind. I do feel sharper and focus better when Crossfitting around my studies. By the way, I got my sensation back in my fingers (darn overhead squats), brutal WOD but good to throwdown hard on Monday.

    Hope you all had fun with that WOD yesterday, it crushed me when I tried it 2 months ago. Alright Elijah I am going to try a modified version of this wod today and see how my shoulder responds. I am going to do 10 ring pushups with 20 airsquats for 5 rounds.

    whew! my arms are still sore from all those ring push ups, but I love how easy the 400 m run is in comparison. fun noon class today!

    Coach, I wanted to truly thank you for your drive and patience. Between my monkey bar recovery episode and intermittent travel, I only have about 6-7 solid months of Crossfit under my belt. Just over the past few days, especially after cranking out some muscle-ups, I feel like I reached and overcame a personal plateau (many more to come). I’m stoked, and I owe it to you (and the ACF family for being so damn cool and so much fun…you know who you are). Squats…yeah, that’s a separate plateau in itself, I’m working on it. Thanks everyone and Coach for keeping it real, keep on keeping on.

    P.S. CoachK, I could’ve used you tonight, get in the box.

    Shout out to anyone who did RX today! Those ring pushups were tough! and kudos to the rest of us for doing our best . . 🙂
