‘Filthy Fifty’

For time:
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

    Oh John, you’re so savy…didn’t know they posted the WOD results. Yeah, I was odd man out yesterday, and not getting too much love. I actually Rx’d, and had to do the full 1000m row on each end, with 30 reps of each movement. Something I didn’t expect, I’m getting some serious cotton mouth with this dry, cold winter weather….not cool. Have fun with Filthy Fifty gang!!

    filthy fifty just keeps getting better. 24:49 today. 3 minutes less than last time, but 2 plus minutes more than my goal. i’m already making plans to shave seconds off next time (like push pressing instead of strict pressing – wtf was i thinking!).

    That workout is Pure F-U-N….FUN!! Anyway, we are going to have a little low-key outdoor fire this evening if anyone is interested. Well, lets’ be honest, you’re all interested and I could divulge the elite group of people that have already rsvp’d, but who wantsto be a name dropper! So, if you’re looking to be a good kid, like Brian Scott Watson, it’s a nice opportunity to grill a steak and just chill without someone begging you to go to PETE’S!!! btw, Go Hawks!!……if you don’t no my Blackhawks are playing your Sharks tonight…..

    dang! i’ve been jonesing for an outdoor fire. too bad i just committed to hosting a sleepover. next time i’ll be a good kid and join the FUN, brian.

    here’s an update from jenny (apparently our blog doesn’t like comments from japan):

    “I’m jealous I don’t get to do the filthy today. I did this workout for the first time week 1. I couldn’t do double-unders so I did singles.
    First day of practice today. 9-1 then a plan ride to a warmer area where we will have camp for a month.
    I got in the weight room yesterday for a quick circuit of box jumps, push-ups, pull-ups, and toes to bar. my Japanese teammates saw the pull-ups and toes to bar, and our captain and rookie both tried to do one of each and FAILED. The spark if interest has begun. (Head coach was also present.)
    Miss you all!”

    Oh my… this is always such a filthy time. See you guys at 530. Oh and I spy a future crossfitter, adorable.
