    damn, Dan! I’m so glad you’re sharing your WODs with us. makes it seem like you’re not so far away.

    I’d have to be super sore and inflamed to set foot – let alone body – in an ice bath. I like Tracy’s idea of a dip in the cold river. also love the trail/BBQ idea!

    Rosie, glad you’re back. coach isn’t the same without you.

    coach, I’m excited to work on snatches today. i actually woke up with them on my mind, and imagined myself getting a full depth squat snatch. your programming is spot on (but you already knew that, didn’t you?).

    Dan an ice bath sounds so wrong! A hot tub, now that sounds more like it. Did snatches for the first time since jacking my shoulder up in September. *I think I need the ice bath* a tad bit sore.

    Tore up hands and exhaustion = day of rest. Think I might go straight to bed when I get home tonight. Turned another year older and it seems I need to go to bed a few hours earlier.

    So I am officially Dory from Finding Nemo when it comes to snatches . . . Feels like the first time . . . every time. Shout out to everyone who patiently reminds me of the same stuff they patiently reminded me of the last time we did snatches. And I assure you that I will probably have to be reminded the NEXT time we do snatches of the exact same things. Ugh. Tho the prize goes to Coach Jerry for his sage advice in telling me I needed to ‘drop it like its hot’. That beats all. 🙂

    Ok lets try this again. A long time coming for an update. I am sorry all for not checking in with you guys sooner.
    I am sad to say that I have only gotten in 3 semi crossfit workouts in in the 2 weeks I have been out here. I am HORRIBLY missing my routine and seeing all of your faces. what I would give to do the 12 days of Christmas with everyone. 🙂
    We have been on the road for 2 weeks now, and I am home sick from both my homes. 🙂 My Japanese home where there is a semi decent gym, and of course my home there in Cali.
    We are practicing 8 hours a day, so we are in a GRIND. 2 more weeks of this and I should get some sort of routine back.
    Food is GREAT. I may come back a few extra pounds heavier from all the good fish, meat, pork and veggies. Paleo has been easy to maintain so far minus the unavoidable fried chicken/pork.
    I miss you all tons! Keep kicking butt while I’m gone! IntenseSteve you better be getting stronger by the day! 🙂
