    Me too, first logo.
So I have this thing twirling in my head from a few posts ago about mediocrity, we should put up a sign in front of ACF that says mediocrity stops here! It has been my mantra for a few weeks now and probably will be for a long time, it’s so easy to get sucked into society’s norms.

If its a vote I like the first one better, although both are good. No gym today, I am on my 4th day in a row working (mandatory OT today).

I did do a warm-up wod for 13.4 this am. 6 rounds of 5 reps each of 135# c&j and toes to bars. This was harder than it sounded.

I will be there Saturday morning for some fun at ARCfit.

Tracy, I thought of you when I read this today:

“An apocalypse (Ancient Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apocálypsis, from ἀπό and καλύπτω meaning ‘un-covering’), translated literally from Greek, is a disclosure of knowledge, hidden from humanity in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception, i.e., a lifting of the veil or revelation.”

I’ve long been obsessed with post-apocalyptic literature, and this definition of “apocalypse” makes me realize that some of us are indeed living in a post-apocalyptic society of our own making. I often joke with my family that I’ve stepped out of the Matrix (as in the Keanu Reaves movie), but really I’m not joking. Chalk one up for leaving society’s norms far behind me on my journey away from mediocrity!

P.S. I came from the gym and turned my kitchen into a kombucha lab. Three new batches started: coffee, herbal green tea, and lemon infused grey tea. I also started a new secondary ferment with Tazo Passion tea. Also, I put some ribs in the crock pot using FireSteve’s recipe. Can’t wait for dinner!

I like the 1st one for bigger displays and the 2nd one for smaller items.

Nice Molly I love that! We have a great bunch of people at the box all heading that way.

Look forward to tasting your creations, I actually have some chemical free decaf coffee I will have to experiment with too, the coffee one was so fun!

I’m interested in any crockpot recipes folks have. Is FireSteve’s recipe posted in the comments somewhere?
