-Use this time to work on those little things that bug you and you want to get better at
-Don’t know what to do? Work on your olympic lifting skills and finish off with a lacrosse ball
-Don’t worry, I’ll be there so you will not be lost, ask for help!

    Okay, we’ll see how WOD 13.1 goes today, anyone care to join me at noon who can’t do it tomorrow or Saturday?
    By the way, I like the article on clutch vs. consistency, I agree that consistency is more of a factor in life that being clutch. For instance, time management is a useful tool in developing mental toughness as it allows us to do the important things (i.e. fitness and nutrition, career and development) while also making valuable time to build our relationships (i.e. spouse, friends, family, neighbors, CrossFit community)!!

        Steve, you and I are going head to head on Saturday morning! You better bring your “A” game because T got me ALL FIRED up last night! Now I’m even more fired up from judging IntenseSteve.

    ok. just saw this quote on pinterest: “unless you fell off the treadmill and smacked your face, no one wants to hear about your workout.”

    yet another reason crossfit is different from the run of the (tread)mill workout.

    nice job on the first open workout, Teresa and IntenseSteve! FireSteve, I’ll be there to cheer you on tomorrow. I plan on doing the workout Saturday morning (though it’s tempting to get it out of the way sooner!).

    Jenster and I each got our first muscle up today at noon. woohoo! she got it first and it definitely inspired me to go for it. i knew it would feel freaking awesome to look down from the top of those rings, and it did!

    So glad to have 13.1 behind me! Nothing like doing the first WOD of the opens 30mins after it’s posted! Big thanks to Denise and Dave for doing burpies with me, I sooo needed that in that moment. Thanks also to everyone cheering me on (even the ones cussing at me–Kyle) you guys are awesome! So last year I believe there was a snatch ladder in the opens with the same weight but no burpies. I didn’t sign up for the opens but did this WOD. I did the 45lbs but didn’t even attempt the 75lbs…what a difference a year, a new gym, & new coach makes…thanks Elijah!
    Can’t wait to hear how you all rock this WOD!

    Liked the LSD article, LSD and carbs is such an addiction, such a high in it and not sure but think this is partly why insomnia is one of the #1 dis-eases in our American society, took me a while to figure it out.
