Love that breakdown of emotional vs. physical nutrition…so true. The more I deal with my stuff the less binge eating I do!

Very good quote! The first half I was over here in Japan I was not mentally prepared for all of the emotions I was feeling. I felt lonely, bored, missing my routine.

This 2nd half I came over prepared. I am very conscious of why I am eating something here. That paired with the knowledge that certain foods make me crave eating bad foods. It has taken me months to recognized that fruit, dark chocolate, wine or beer (more than 1 or 2) throws me into a spiral of cravings.

When I am lonely I read a good book, when I am bored a find a good article to read or I put on one of my favorite podcasts.

I am slowly changing the way that I view food.

    Miss you all!

Oh and loved yesterdays picture! 2 of my favorite faces! 🙂

I agree to the posting. We all go through this. Can I say “a lil janky” for todays workout (strict chest to bar got real hard).

my neck got ALJ during today’s WOD, resulting in a DNF, ultimately leading to emotional thirst. a few NorCal margaritas later, I’m feeling a little better, but uncomfortably drowsy.

a big thank you to Trish for setting up the ball-bar for me today so I could get a proper shoulder stretch. it’s amazing how that simple act of kindness filled my day with gratitude!
