Don’t be late to class

I have been talking about a burpee penalty for folks showing up late to class. Yesterday, I pulled the trigger. Sorry to those two who had to be penalized first, but we need to make a habit of being on time for a lot of reasons (you miss something, distracts other people, etc). I get it, once in a while you get held up at work and life happens. Let’s just stop making a habit out of getting to class late…

On a better note, we are seeing some real improvement and seeing some of the more technical moves click with some of you. Way to keep on working! You’ll all be picking up these movements soon enough.

1000 meter row
45 pound Thruster, 50 reps
30 pull-ups

9:57. for some reason, those simple thrusters kicked my butt. must stretch hip flexors today.

and i hate working out alone! elijah kindly offered to change into workout clothes and do the WOD with me, but i was feeling a little too slow this morning to compete with the master.

i better see more of you tomorrow AM! ๐Ÿ™‚

7:32rx. That was the hardest set of pull-ups I’ve done in a long time. Harder than round 20 of last week’s “on the minute pull up WOD”.

I agree Molly, those “light” thrusters were a bit of a surprise.

Can I do burpees on the days that I have extra energy and bank them for the days that I will be late?
