Going to try for 1/2 WOD – leaving my house for the run at 7am. I have to work at 10am. If any of you want to meet me and join in the fun I can email you the map/plan.

Briefly it goes like this…run from my house in a “Y” ~2.5mi to Auburn Recreation Park for 75 burpee pull ups, retrace my steps back home. I’m hoping it wont take me longer than 90minutes.

Give me a shout if you want me to email you the map (map my run) or if you just want my address and to keep the rest a surprise….

Ran on the trail, so had to substitute pushups. (30 pushups every 2miles for 5 rounds). 1hr 51minutes. And, I found $7 bucks!

So when I first saw this workout, I thought maybe it was a joke. But when I woke up this morning, I sadly realized it was not. So I scrounged up a high school track and a gravel middle school yard w a monkey bar . Game on Clovis. I have never posted my times or weights before cuz they are never so great but today I’m postin cuz I did it. It wasn’t pretty . . It was the furthest thing from fast . . . But I did it. The first seven miles weren’t so bad . . The last three I bargained with my legs to walk the corners and run the straights. The burpee pull ups in the gravel . . .well I’ll be honest . . There were a few moments where I just layed in those rocks and cried . . . . Run time 2 hours 13 min . .. Burpee time 32 min. Total Clovis time 2 hours 45 min. I’m sure by Crossfit standards its nothing but by my own. . . I could not be prouder.

Nice Jess, you’re hilarious, but 10 miles is no joke. 2:13 is a great time on the run, you should be proud. Thank you Vets and Clovis!

Really wanted to do it, but got home too late and running in the dark is not an option. 150 burpees I can do though! Way to go Jess! That is awesome!

You guys are awesome. Sucked being at work all day. But I do want to say a special thanks to my Grandfather and Great Uncle who both served in WWII and to those men and women serving both now and before. They are the true heroes of our country. Happy Veteran’s Day!
